MPs gave Nawaz standing ovation
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPs have assured Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that they will resist the opponents of progress.
All of them rose up to warmly welcome the prime minister who enters the auditorium with his secretary Fawad Hassan Fawad and gave him a standing ovation be fore start of the PML-N parliamanrary party meeting on Thursday. Chaudhry Asadur Rehman said he is not able hear the PM properly on which the PM asked him to sit down.
The PM said success comes with hard work and not sit-ins. Nawaz was confident all through the proceedings of the meeting. It was proposed that Musharraf and his colleagues should be called in to ask why they have not installed plants to generate electricity in their time. They praised Operation Zarb-e-Azb and the role of police in countering terrorism.
