Burnt man dies at hospital

GUJRANWALA: A rickshaw driver, who had received burn injuries in a suicide bid three days ago, died in hospital on Friday.
Muhammad Asif of Camp No 4, Civil Lines, exchanged harsh words with his friends and doused himself in petrol and set himself to fire.
He was rushed to DHQ Hospital, Gujranwala, from where he was referred to Lahore and at Lahore he died.
34 PRISONERS RELEASED: District and Sessions Judge Habibullah Amir Friday released 34 prisoners, who were involved in petty crimes from central jail Gujranwala. The DSJ visited the jail and inspected the different barracks and jail kitchen. He ordered the release of the prisoners on personal surety bonds.
