PHF announces technical officials for women c’ship
KARACHI: The 29th National Women Hockey championship will be played at Naseer Bunda Hockey Stadium in Islamabad, from August 5-12.
There will be two teams each from Punjab and Sindh and one each from KP, Balochistan, Islamabad, WAPDA, Railways, Army, HEC and Police.
The women hockey championship will organised by PHF’s women wing.
The PHF has appointed the following panel of technical officials.
Gulshan Nasreen (Lahore) will be the tournament director and Anjum Saeed (Rawalpindi) assistant tournament director.
The umpires’ manager will be Rana Muhammad Liaqat and Razia Rizvi will be the assistant umpires manager.
The PHF has appointed eight umpires, including women, from various regions and departments.
According to a press release, Tasneem Siddiqui will be the PHF’s coordinator and Tanzeela Amir Cheema will be the organising secretary of the championship.
