SECP raids illegal brokerage

ISLAMABAD: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) conducted a raid on an illegal brokerage house in Rahimyar Khan on Friday, a statement said on Friday The statement said the SECP received an anonymous complaint about the operation of an illegal brokerage house in the area. Later, the SECP made an initial probe through its officer and found substance in the compliant. On Friday the SECP’s investigation team reached Rahimyar Khan, and after obtaining search warrants from the relevant magistrate, raided the premises.
