Prof Nafis retires

LAKKI MARWAT: The legendry educationist Prof. Muhammad Nafis, Principal of Government Degree College Serai Naurang, retires after few days on August 01, 2016.

With this, the Higher Education Department, parents and students will miss a best administrator and a fine teacher. He is the one who have strictly introduced the policy of merit in admissions to colleges, besides pressure from influential quarters. And this quality has given an edge to him over all other colleges and principals.

 Prof Nafis is very learned man who have undergone prestigious trainings abroad like “Risk Management in Community Development” from Sweden; “Project Management based on log frame” from Thailand; “Project Monitoring and Evaluation” and “Management Information System” from East Anglia University, Norwich, UK.

In practical field, Prof Nafis have got variety of experience, besides Principalship of Government Postgraduate Lakki Marwat, Bannu and Serai Naurang. He has served as Section Officer and Deputy Secretary in Federal Government; Deputy Director Pakistan Academy for Rural Development and Member NWFP Textbook Board. He is considered to be one of the honest administrator, educationist and a good man. He will be remembered with respect and honour.
