Islamabad: The Pakistan Science Foundation has announced a programme to bear educational expenditure of brilliant science students after matriculation.
According to the PSF, an autonomous organisation overseen by the science and technology ministry, the Science Talent Farming Scheme will benefit the students, who have passed matriculation exam and want to continue studying science, will get Rs10,000 every month as tuition fee and other educational expenses.
However, the students wanting to avail themselves of the scheme will have to pass the National Testing Service screening examination to benefit from the scheme.
The last date to apply for the scheme is August 15. Under the scheme, the selected students will be enrolled in reputed public sector colleges of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Karachi and Quetta and other facilities for scientific grooming.
