Man kills brother, mother over domestic row

FAISALABAD: A man killed his brother and mother over a domestic dispute at Chak 466/GB, Samundri, on Tuesday.
Akbar was wedded four months ago but he severed relations with his wife. To it, his father Boota separated the couple and sent Akbar’s wife to the house of her parents. Boota’s decision was supported by his wife Rafiqan Bibi and another son Muhammad Islam, but Akbar did not like it. On the day of the incident, Akbar allegedly gunned down his brother Islam and mother Rafiqan. Police are investigating.
DRIVER KILLED ON ROAD: A rickshaw driver was killed in a road accident near Makkoana on Tuesday.
A rickshaw was on its way when a trailer collided with it. As a result, the rickshaw driver of Chak 215/RB was killed on the spot while four passengers were injured. The injured people were shifted to the Civil Hospital.
