Additional IGPs, Punjab traffic DIG, Lahore investigation DIG, Operations DIG, Lahore CTO and other senior officers were present while all RPOs and CTOs attended the meeting through video link. The IGP also asked the field officers to demand additional force for establishing special squads for this purpose. Moreover, he also directed that all CTOs and DPOs would remain directly in contact with the traffic officers for effective coordination. The IGP directed that the field officers should also remain in contact with the transporter owners so that the grievances of the citizens and the transporter owners against traffic police could be redressed.
