MIRPUR, AJK: Former AJK minister and PML-N leader Major (retd) Munsif Dad died of cardiac arrest at his native town Charhoi in Kotli district of Azad Jammu Kashmir on Wednesday. He was 62. He was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard in his native town Charhoi Wednesday afternoon. Thousands of people belonging to all walks of life from across AJK, including politicians, serving and retired civil and military officials, social workers, lawyers, journalists and the city elite offered the Namaz-e-Janaza. Late Major (retd) Munsif Dad had a long and distinguished career in power politics of the AJK. He also remained elected member of the AJK Legislative Assembly.
