Aamir Liaquat assails statement of Ishratul Ebad’s spokesman
KARACHI: Former state minister for Religious Affairs, world renowned broadcaster, prominent journalist and analyst Dr Amir Liaquat Husain, while commenting on the statement of Ishratul Ebad’s spokesman, said that it showed frustration of a desperate and lonesome person.
He said it was not the tradition of my family and training of my parents to use similar street language and tone in reply to the statement.
I want to remind Ishratul Ebad that the position of power and rule are always very weak and those who took pride in power have always fallen down. They do not prolong and are often degrading. He reminded him that how he achieved such position is very well exposed to everyone. It would not be astonishing for a person who betrays his benefactor to mumble against a popular person.
He said I do not need to remind this very insecure and non-confident person how great my family is which could not be adjustable to his very small mindset. However, he should now understand that even the security agencies, which he had been depending upon, using their names for betraying his former political party.
The people have no trust in him. It is after the statements of Saulat Mirza prior to his hanging disclosed his double role and character.
He said the man known as Ishratul Ebad does not represent anyone and very soon the federation would get rid of this person, who has nothing on his credit but continued his grip on the province for a long time.
He said how come the constitutional head of a province did not even know that the vehicle of a known person had been stopped and kept in a police station without any valid reason. The judicial magistrate had resented the action.
Such person should come out of the Governor’s House, should consult some good psychiatrist because the results of living in the solitude of a suffocated room for 14 years have left adverse effects on his mind.
The results are now showing up. Dr Amir Liaquat said if this statement is not enough for the spokesman of Ishratul Ebad, I still have other medicines but I hope this dose is enough and there would not be any need for further medicines.
