Woman killed by brother-in-law

A woman was gunned down allegedly by her husband’s younger brother over a domestic dispute in the Kahna police jurisdiction on Thursday. 

Police arrested accused Aslam and registered an FIR against him. Police said Najma, 50, was a housewife and her husband was a proclaimed offender in a murder case. Her children had been fighting with their cousins which led Aslam to kill his sister-in-law. Police shifted the body to city morgue for autopsy.

found dead: A 55-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstance in the limits of Gulberg Police station on Thursday. 

Police shifted the body of Azeemullah to city morgue. The body was found at Centre Point by commuters in the area who then informed the police. Police saw natural cause behind his death, but autopsy would determine the real cause of the death. 

Body found: A 50-year-old man was found dead in an apparent drug overdose in the Sabzazar police jurisdiction on Thursday.  Police arrived at the scene after being told of the unattended corpse by area locals.

Police said that the deceased was found dead in a drain and that cause of death is yet to be established. The body was moved to City morgue for autopsy and further investigation.
