Murder suspect remanded till July 21

remand of a suspected killer, Zubair alias Charya, to the investigation officer till July 21. Zubair, said to an activist of a political party, is facing charges of killing a man, Yousuf, in the SITE A police precincts in 2013. The investigation officer told the court that the suspect had killed Yousuf over a political enmity and he needed to be interrogated thoroughly. The investigation officer asked the court to grant physical remand of the accused so the circumstances leading to the killing could be ascertained. The court granted the plea and granted Zubair’s physical remand till July 21.
