LAHORE
The Officer Staff Association (OSA) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) on Thursday arranged a farewell party for the varsity’s deputy registrar Sardar Muhammad who has retired from UVAS service.
The ceremony was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha while registrar Dr Muhammad Afzal, OSA office-bearers Sajjad Hyder (President), Muhammad Rizwan Saleem (Vice-President), Imran Younas Chohan (General Secretary), Tariq Abdullah (Joint Secretary), Muhammad Shafique (Secretary Finance), Badar Munir (Secretary Information) and a large number of OSA members were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Pasha said Sardar Muhammad served the university with full dedication. He also lauded the effort of the organisers to arrange the farewell ceremony. He also said very soon the UVAS would launch a welfare society for the betterment of the poor needy students and employees. Earlier, Sardar Muhammad and Dr Waseem Shoukat also spoke on the occasion.
