Woman, minor daughter electrocuted

LAHORE
A five-year-old girl and her mother were electrocuted in Misri Shah on Thursday. Police said Muneeba was playing when she suddenly touched a livewire and received shocks. Her mother Farkhanda ran to rescue her. As she touched the girl, she also received shocks. Both mother and girl fell unconscious and were shifted to a hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.
BODY FOUND: Body of a 12-year-old boy was recovered from a drain in Badamibagh. Police said a passerby spotted the body in a drain and informed them.
