Late bills
It is really very inconvenient for customers that IESCO keeps the due date for bills to be paid by domestic consumers at the very end of the month. If the bill is not paid within the due date there is an additional penalty charge. The higher the bill the higher is the penalty for late payment. This is extremely inconvenient because most of the salaried people and pensioners finish their monthly income by the end of the month. Per force they have to wait for their next salary and pay the bill after the first of next month which is after the due date mentioned on the bill.
IESCO is a public service utility company, meant to provide good service and convenience to the people but it seems that they are completely oblivious to this part of their job. In addition to loadshedding, consumers also have to face this sort of financial issue. It is only fair and just that the due date for payment of all utility bills be during the first week of every month and the bill is sent to consumers in the third week of every month. Hopefully Wapda and IESCO authorities will look into this and make the necessary amendments in their billing schedule.
