Man dies in road mishap

Yet another life was lost to shoddy and reckless driving in the city on Sunday.

According to rescue authorities, an accident was reported near the New Karachi police station and responders confirmed that it had resulted in the death of a man who was yet to be identified. The officials, however, said the victim appeared to be around 47 years old and that he was crossing a road when a speeding vehicle ran him over. The body was later shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.
