Afghan president’s remarks ‘unfortunate, hostile’: FO
Kabul advised against constant blame game based on inaccurate assumptions; Ashraf Ghani says Pakistan differentiates between good and bad terrorists in practice
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Saturday expressed disappointment over the remarks of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani at the Nato Summit in Warsaw terming them unfortunate, hostile and anti-Pakistan.
“It is unfortunate that the Afghan leaders continue to make hostile statements against Pakistan and blame it for all failures in Afghanistan.
“However, since we have a genuine interest in seeing peace in Afghanistan, we will continue to make every effort to help bring peace in the county,” said the Foreign Office in a statement.
“We also expect cooperation of the Afghan government in our fight against terrorism through effective border management and denial of sanctuaries to anti-Pakistan terrorists from the TTP,” said the statement.
