MANSEHRA: The managing director of the Utility Stores Corporation Dildar Hussain Shah has said that the corporation was not being privatised as it has been making progress. “I have not been working on any plan to privatise the corporation but working to make it a profit earning body,” he told reporters after visiting stores here on Sunday. “We have been selling essential commodities at subsidised prices under Ramazan package, which has increased sales of the corporation manifold,” said Dildar Hussain Shah.He said complaint cells set up across the country were highly encouraging as they could control discrepancies. He said that oil and ghee prices were reduced to a limit where hoarding by traders in markets could be controlled.
