Bar associations condemn US attack on Iran
PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court Bar Association (PHCBA) and the District Bar Association Peshawar on Monday condemned the US attack on Iran, calling it a threat to global peace and stability.
The PHCBA meeting was chaired by Ameenur Rehman Yousafzai, while the District Bar Association’s meeting was convened under Qaiser Zaman. In their condemnation, the bar leaders expressed concern over what they described as “aggressive action” by the US. They urged the government to raise its voice against such unilateral military actions at international forums.
The bar representatives stated that continued American aggression, along with unwavering Western support, posed a growing threat to the Muslim world. “This attack on Iran is not an isolated incident but part of a broader pattern of global injustice,” the statement read.
The associations condemned Israel’s ongoing violence in Palestine, describing it as “systematic genocide” of innocent and unarmed civilians over the past two years. They denounced the brutality and termed it a blatant violation of international human rights.
