Pakistan, Russia to further strengthen energy ties
It was agreed that OGDCL and Gazprom would continue discussions to identify viable projects and partnerships

ISLAMABAD: A high-level Pakistani delegation, led by Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik, held a meeting on Friday with the representatives of Gazprom International, Russia’s leading oil and gas company, wherein the two sides focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in energy sector.
According to a press release, the Russian delegation was headed by General Director Gazprom Sergey Tumanov, with Ahmed Hayat Lak, MD/CEO Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), also present in the meeting.
It was agreed that OGDCL and Gazprom would continue discussions to identify viable projects and partnerships, ensuring sustainable energy development and economic growth for both countries.
