Failed order
It is really quite unfortunate to witness how the world is increasingly beset by escalating wars and armed conflicts in different regions. Russia and Ukraine have been at war for over two years now, Israel is committing a genocide against the Palestinians, has launched attacks on Lebanon and Syria and is now striking Iran. Astonishingly, during the recent G7 summit, the West’s most powerful and wealthy countries seemed to pin the blame for this escalation on Iran when Israel is clearly the aggressor. International institutions have miserably failed in their efforts to prevent wars and appear to be mere spectators to the conflicts unfolding across the globe. They urgently need to change their approach before things get even worse.
