Islamabad: Work on the new education policy is in full swing at the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. There is a high likelihood the policy’s first draft being ready next month.
“We’ve engaged 18 experts to develop the Education Policy 2016. They’re currently putting the finishing touches to it, so we’re hopeful that the first draft of the policy will be available with us by the middle of this month,” a relevant ministry official told ‘The News’ on Friday.
The official said the draft would be shared with the provinces for consideration. He said the draft would also be uploaded on the ministry’s website to get the feedback and input of other stakeholders.
