Cop martyred in Lakki Marwat
LAKKI MARWAT: A policeman embraced martyrdom when terrorists opened fire on him in a forest near Lakki city late Friday night, officials said.
They said that the cop, Khushdil Khan, had come to his house on leave when he was targeted
“Terrorists kidnapped him from his house located at Malikabad area in Lakki city, took him to the nearby forest locally called darga and killed him there,” said an official.
He said that the assailants fled after the incident while the body of the martyred policeman was taken to the Government City Hospital to complete medico-legal formalities.
DPO Muhammad Jawad Ishaq, additional DC Habibullah Wazir, SP Investigation Murad Wazir, military officials, relatives and social and political elite attended his funeral prayer at the Police Lines.
