A case was registered against Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and others for violating Section 144

ISLAMABAD: The court of Judicial Magistrate Mureed Abbas ordered the acquittal of Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas in the 2014 sit-in case.
During the hearing on Thursday after the parties completed their arguments on the acquittal application, the court decided to accept the acquittal application.
A case was registered against Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and others for violating Section 144. Allama Raja Nasir Abbas had participated in the Pakistan Awami Tehreek’s sit-in along with Allama Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri. Allama Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri was already declared proclaimed offender in this case.
