KARACHI: Arif Shehzad Jadoon, the Malir Cantonment-based head of a football academy that trains a substantial number of aspiring female footballers, has become the youngest member of the newly elected executive committee of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).
The elections were held recently, after a gap of several years, under the supervision of the FIFA-appointed Normalisation Committee. Jadoon represents Sindh on the executive committee.
Jadoon established the Garrison Football Academy (GFA) in Malir Cantonment in 2014, aiming to provide modern football training to both male and female players. The GFA now has branches in Hyderabad, Falcon Complex on Jinnah Avenue, Kharian Cantonment, and Rawalpindi.
