Pakistan was recently appointed the head of the United Nations Security Council’s Taliban Sanctions Committee and vice chair of the Counter Terrorism Committee. These appointments are a testament to the nation’s successful foreign policy. In fact, the country truly deserves these appointments given how heavily it is impacted by terrorism and they are a great opportunity to restore our global image. We can use this platform to highlight our counter-terror efforts and the sacrifices we are making in this regard, countering the Indian narrative that we are a safe haven for terror.
