MG Pakistan resumes vehicle deliveries after airlifting key components
LAHORE: MG Pakistan has resumed deliveries of select vehicle variants after recent delays caused by temporary shipment rerouting due to geopolitical disruptions. The company said it airlifted key components to minimise the impact on customers.
On Tuesday, MG Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction by swiftly importing critical parts to restart production of the MG HS PHEV -- Pakistan’s first locally assembled plug-in hybrid electric vehicle.
“We are pleased to share that production is now running at full speed, and deliveries are resuming immediately,” said General Manager of the Marketing Division at MG Pakistan Syed Asif Ahmed. “Our top priority is to ensure our customers receive their vehicles with minimal disruption.”
The shipment delays had primarily affected select colour variants and the delivery of complimentary 7kW chargers. In response, the company took urgent measures to restore operations at full capacity by airlifting the necessary kits and components.
