PPP leader says ex-minister has rejoined party

MANSEHRA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ‘s president for Hazara Division, Malik Mohammad Farooq, on Monday claimed that former provincial minister Syed Ahmad Hussain Shah had rejoined the party.
“Shah, who had parted ways with the PPP after the 2018 general elections and joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTi), has now returned and will formally announce his rejoining at a major public gathering in Kaghan after Eidul Azha,” Malik told a presser here.
Flanked by other office-bearers, he said KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and the PPP leadership, including provincial president Mohammad Ali Bacha and general secretary Shujah Salim Khan, recently met with former senator Muzamal Shah and invited him and his son to return to the party.
