PESHAWAR: Retired Lieutenant Colonel Farooq Akbar Khan passed away on Sunday.His Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered today (Monday) at 11 am at his ancestral village, Babi Jadeed, GT Road. Dua for the departed soul will be offered at Akbar House, 32.C Circular Road, University Town Peshawar

The deceased was the father of Retired Major Zahid Akbar, and uncle of Medical Director of Hayatabad Medical Complex (HMC), Dr. Shehzad Akbar Khan and Professor of HMC’s ENT Section Dr. Adnan Yar Mohammad.
