Minister praises PIFD students’ theses display
LAHORE:Prof Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Planning Development and Special Initiatives of Pakistan, has expressed his admiration for the outstanding work being done by students and faculty at the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD).
According to a press release issued here on Sunday, the minister commended the creativity and potential of Pakistani youth, highlighting the importance of showcasing their talents on a global platform.
During the Theses Display Ceremony of PIFD, the minister appreciated the innovative products and designs created by PIFD students and faculty. He emphasised the potential for these creative endeavours to generate revenue in dollars for Pakistan through online platforms.
The ceremony culminated in the signing of a landmark Letter of Understanding (LOU) between the Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) and the University of Narowal (UON). The LOU was signed by Prof Hina Tayyaba Khalil, Vice Chancellor, PIFD and Prof Dr Muhammad Younas, Vice Chancellor, UON. This strategic partnership aims to foster innovation, creativity, and knowledge sharing between the two institutions, paving the way for collaborative initiatives and mutual growth.
