Directive to increase strength of traffic wardens
LAHORE : Price Control and Commodities Management Department Secretary Ehsan Bhutta on Saturday visited Badami Bagh vegetable and fruit market.
Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA) director general and Market Committee Secretary gave briefing on demand and supply of essential items and monitoring system.
Ehsan Bhutta directed the authorities to increase the strength of traffic wardens and civil defence personnel to manage traffic problems. He also directed the authorities to take steps to ensure cleanliness and beauty of the market. Bhutta directed the relevant director of the Wasa to complete drain construction work at the earliest. He said that traffic problems had increased in the market due to ongoing construction works.
