Ranks conferred on promoted police officials
LAHORE : A promotion badge-pinning ceremony was held at the Capital City Police Headquarters to mark the elevation of Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) to the rank of Sub-Inspector. DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar placed the promotion ranks on Syed Basharat Hussain during the event.
Around 54 ASIs from various units of Lahore Police, including Operations, Investigation, and Security Divisions, have been promoted.
Prominent names among the promoted staff include M Tanveer, Javed Akhtar, Jafar Hussain, Dilshad Hussain Shah and Boota Anjum. Others promoted include M Tariq, Fida, Sarfraz Ahmed, Tariq Aziz and Zulfiqar Ali. CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana extended congratulations to the promoted staff and expressed his best wishes for their continued success. DIG Imran Kishwar stated that the promotion process for police was being expedited and urged the newly promoted SIs to uphold professionalism and deliver exemplary performance. He added that hardworking, competent and experienced policemen were a valuable asset to the department.
