ISLAMBAD: Special Secretary of the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination, Mirza Nasiruddin Mashhood Ahmed, has clarified that he did not make any official statement regarding the withdrawal of the summary for the appointment of the Board of Governors (BoG) of the National Institute of Health (NIH).
In a statement, he said that while the matter may have come up in an informal discussion, any remarks attributed to him were not made in an official capacity or intended for publication. He emphasized that no formal comment was provided to the media, and any impression to the contrary may have stemmed from a casual exchange.
