Tribute paid to college principal
Islamabad: Students, teachers, retired professors across the capital city gathered at Islamabad Model Postgraduate College of Commerce, H-8/4, to pay tribute to the late Professor Waqas Aziz, principal of the college and a renowned figure in the academic community, who passed away suddenly on Tuesday.
The hall was filled with heartfelt emotions as teachers and friends shared memories of his kindness, leadership, and dedication to education. Professor Abdul Basit of the same college said, “It is very difficult to accept that Professor Waqas Aziz is no longer with us. He was always ready to help everyone, teachers, students, and staff. His absence has left a deep void.” Principals from various men’s and women’s colleges also spoke at the gathering.
