KP CM announces district status for Allai

BATTAGRAM: Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur on Friday announced district status to Allai tehsil in Battagram district.

The chief minister announced the decision at a meeting with elected representatives from Hazara Division to discuss the upcoming Annual Development Program (ADP) and review the progress of ongoing development projects in the region.

The meeting was attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly speaker, members of both National and Provincial assemblies from Hazara Division, and senior officials from the divisional administration.

During the meeting, the chief minister announced the decision to upgrade Alai tehsil in Battagram district to the status of a full-fledged district.“The PTI founding chairman Imran Khan had announced the elevation of Allai tehsil to district status, and it is crucial to implement his vision for the betterment of this region.

This is a major step in improving the lives of Allai’s people,” the chief minister said.Prince Muhammad Nawaz Khan, MNA Battagram, praised the decision, stating, “This is a monumental achievement for Allai. It will not only empower the locals but also pave the way for faster development and the improvement of infrastructure. I am committed to working closely with the provincial government to ensure this vision is realized.”

MPA Zubair Khan added, “Allai’s residents have long awaited this moment. This district status will facilitate better access to resources and services, bringing greater opportunities to the people. It’s a victory for the hard-working citizens of Allai.”

Faheem Khan, a student from Allai, expressed his excitement, saying, “This decision opens upso many new opportunities for us, especially for the youth. We can now expect better education facilities and job prospects, which will help us shape a better future.”
