Ashab, Hamza reach semis of South Australia Open

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ashab Irfan and Hamza Khan moved into the semifinals of South Australia Squash Open in Australia on Thursday.
In the first quarterfinal, top seed Ashab overpowered Joachim Chuah from Malaysia 11-6, 12-14, 8-11, 11-9, 11-8 in 71 minutes. Similarly, sixth seed Hamza beat fourth seed Tomo Endo from Japan 11-6, 11-6, 12-10 in 34 minutes. Now, Hamza and Ashab will face each other in the semis.
