COAS elevation to rank of FM lauded
Islamabad: Leader of Islamabad Developers Association and President of Private Property Sardar Dr. Rashid Ilyas Khan has said that the promotion of Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir to the rank of Field Marshal (FM) is a commendable decision of the government.
Sardar Dr Rashid Ilyas Khan in a statement in Islamabad said in the recent war, Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir took wise and strategic decisions under the best strategy and under his courageous leadership, the Pakistan Army demonstrated its best capabilities badly defeated India.
He said this not only made Pakistan famous all over the world but also made the heads of overseas Pakistanis proud. He said along with the great victory in the battlefield, Pakistan has also achieved an important success at the diplomatic level and the Kashmir dispute has once again become prominent in front of the world.
Sardar Dr Rashid Ilyas Khan said the enemy will remember the wound it has inflicted for centuries. With the promotion of Syed Asim Munir to the rank of Field Marshal, the wounds of defeated India have deepened and a mourning line has descended in India. He congratulated Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and assured him of full support from the business community in his efforts for economic stability in the country.
