Ashab, Hamza in quarters of South Australian Open

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Ashab Irfan and Hamza Khan moved into the quarterfinals of the $9k South Australian Open in Adelaide on Wednesday.
Top seed Ashab defeated Leo Chung from Hong Kong 11-7, 11-7, 11-5 in 25 minutes and sixth seed Hamza defeated Shady Sherbiny 5-11, 11-6, 11-6, 11-4 in 35 minutes in the second round. Now, Ashab will face Joachim Chuah from Malaysia and Hamza is up against fourth seed Tomo Endo from Japan in the quarters.
