P&G Pakistan wins OICCI women’s empowerment award
KARACHI: The OICCI recognised P&G Pakistan as a ‘champion’ at its 7th Annual Women Empowerment Awards and inducted the company into its Hall of Fame for its sustained leadership in gender equity.
Ovais Yousuf, VP and CEO of P&G Pakistan, hailed the dual recognition as a reflection of their commitment to inclusive workplaces, noting that women comprise over half of their senior leadership.
The OICCI’s awards highlight companies promoting workplace diversity. P&G’s #WeSeeEqual initiative drives its efforts in hiring, development and representation, supported by progressive policies and training.
Secretary General OICCI M Abdul Aleem congratulated P&G for setting a strong example in gender equality.P&G Pakistan also partners with organisations like HOPE and Akhuwat to empower women and girls through education and microfinance, and with STEMconnector and NOWPDP to promote inclusion in STEM and for persons with disabilities.
