Rs2.1m released for cops’ treatment

LAHORE:Punjab Police have released over Rs2.1million additional funds for medical treatment of serving and retired police employees and their families.
According to a spokesperson, retired AD Riaz-ul-Haq received Rs500,000, ASI Ghulam Murtaza Rs200,000, and Junior Patrolling Officer Muhammad Irfan Rs185,000. DSP Muhammad Idrees was given Rs175,000, while Constables Ashfaq Ahmad and Yasir Ali received Rs150,000 each. Other beneficiaries include retired SP Legal Syed Hassan Mahmood and staff, who received between Rs100,000 and Rs355,000 collectively for various treatments.
