Indian national’s mobile phone recovered
LAHORE: Lahore Police has set a remarkable example of community policing by promptly recovering a valuable mobile phone belonging to an Indian national residing in the Netherlands.
According to details, Gaurav Singh Sangla, an Indian citizen known for his YouTube channel was visiting Lahore by car from Europe along with his nephew. After dining at a hotel on Ferozepur Road, he realized that his expensive mobile phone was missing. Upon receiving his complaint, the Wahdat Colony police swiftly took action and recovered the valuable phone within a few hours. Expressing his gratitude after receiving the lost mobile phone, Gaurav Singh thanked Lahore police.
Youth shot dead
A young man was shot dead in the Shahpur Kanjran area of Chung following a dispute over the loading of a sand trolley. According to police, the incident occurred when an argument broke out between Bilal Hussain and a group comprising Saleem Bhatti, Kharoo Khokhar, and others over the loading of a sand trolley. The verbal exchange quickly escalated into a violent altercation. After the argument, the suspects, accompanied by armed associates, allegedly stormed Bilal’s residence and opened indiscriminate fire. Bilal sustained critical injuries during the attack and was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway.
