Women empowerment ceremony ends

LAHORE:Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on Thursday hosted the closing ceremony of the first cohort of the Women Empowerment and Mentoring Programme (WEMP).
The event marked the culmination of an initiative supported by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE). Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor LCWU, highlighted the university's commitment to advancing women’s leadership in academia. Chief Guest Dr Zia Ul-Qayyum, ED HEC, addressed the audience via video link, emphasising the significance of mentorship in faculty development.
