Four foreigners confirm their return to increase Kings firepower
As Karachi Kings are pitted against Peshawar Zalmi in an important Pakistan Super League (PSL) match at the Pindi Stadium tomorrow (Saturday), four foreign players have confirmed reaching in time for the restart.
Four foreign picks, David Warner, Ben McDermott, Mohammad Nabi and James Vince are set to return to Kings line-up for remaining PSL matches. Kings also picked George Munsey in place of Kane Williamson.
George Munsey, the hard-hitting top-order batter from Scotland. Munsey, renowned for his aggressive stroke-play and match-winning capabilities in T20 cricket. Munsey, a seasoned campaigner in global T20 leagues, brings his exceptional expertise against spin bowling and firepower to the Kings’ batting lineup. Known for his fearless approach and ability to dismantle bowling attacks, the left-handed batter has been a standout performer for Scotland and in leagues worldwide. His explosive style aligns perfectly with Karachi Kings’ strategy to dominate power play and accelerate in crunch moments.
Kings currently stood second on the PSL 2025 points table with 10 points, firmly in contention for a playoff berth. Meanwhile, Islamabad United have confirmed that Australian all-rounder Ben Dwarshuis will be returning to Pakistan for the remainder of PSL X. “A familiar face in red, Ben’s return adds further depth and balances the star studded lineup of the Pakistan Super League. We look forward to welcoming him back,” United’s handout says.
