KARACHI: The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has announced the appointment of Ishtiaq Baig, honorary consul general of the Kingdom of Morocco and chairperson of the Pakistan-Morocco Business Council, as adviser to the FPCCI president on trade and investment for the African region.
The appointment, effective for the term 2025, was formally announced in a notification issued on May 12, 2025.Baig will be responsible for fostering close liaison and coordination with the president and the secretary general of the FPCCI to enhance trade and investment opportunities between Pakistan and the African continent.
