Wreaths laid at grave of Dr Qadeer
Islamabad:The business community and presidents of trader organisations of Islamabad, under the leadership of Secretary General of United Business Group (FPCCI) Zafar Bakhtawari and President of Anjuman Tajiran Pakistan Ajmal Baloch, visited the mausoleum of Mohsin-e-Pakistan (Benefactor of Pakistan) Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. They laid floral wreaths and showered petals on his grave, says a press release.
On this occasion, they paid rich tribute to his unparalleled services in making Pakistan a nuclear power. Presidents and leaders of various markets and trade organisations praised Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan’s contributions to the nation, stating that he is a national hero who played a key role in making Pakistan’s defence invincible. Participants prayed for his forgiveness and elevated ranks in the hereafter and vowed to continue his mission.
Speaking on the occasion, Zafar Bakhtawari said that Pakistan is an ideological state founded on the Kalima Tayyiba (the Islamic declaration of faith) and the two-nation theory. Islam is its foundation, and it was made to last forever. Ajmal Baloch stated that Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan materialized the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal in such a way that he will be remembered forever. ICC Vice President Nasir Chaudhry said that just as Pakistan achieved victory under the leadership of General Asim Munir against India, we pray that our country continues to triumph over its enemies.
Under the leadership of UBG Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari and President of Anjuman Tajiran Ajmal Baloch, Naeem Akhtar Awan, Zargham Shah, Iftikhar Abbasi, Tahir Abbasi, Yousaf Rajput, Khalid Ch, Waheed Cheema, Zafar Iqbal, Altaf Hussain Shah, Irfan Chaudhry, Akhtar Hussain Abbasi, Khursheed Qureshi, Nisar Mirza, Adil Barkat, Tahmas Butt, and others offered floral tributes at the grave of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan as an expression of gratitude for Pakistan’s remarkable success against India.
