‘Steps being taken for improving nursing sector’

LAHORE:Provincial Minister for Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department Khawaja Salman Rafique said in his message on the occasion of International Nurses Day that today is a day to pay tribute to the services of nurses.
The health minister said that according to the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, basic steps are being taken for the improvement of the nursing sector. Recently, the Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Department has completed the recruitment process of 3,000 nurses. Khawaja Salman Rafique said that nurses are being given referrals courses according to modern requirements and they are performing excellent duties in government hospitals.
