GCU offers 1,200 additional seats for Inter admission
LAHORE:The Government College University (GCU) Lahore has offered 1,200 additional seats on open merit in its intermediate programme.
According to the University's Director of Intermediate Studies, the new admissions opened and will be offered in second shift on Main Campus and Morning Shift on New Campus at Kala Shah Kaku (KSK).
The second shift (2pm to 6pm) at Main Campus will offer admissions in Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science, General Science, Commerce, and Humanities. The morning shift at the New Campus will offer admissions in Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, and Computer Science. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Omer Chaudhry stated that despite its elevation to a university, GCU continues to maintain a separate directorate for Intermediate Studies.
“We aim to provide a breeding ground for top-merit students coming from all over Pakistan, including far-flung areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh,” he said.
Dr Chaudhry added that the KSK Campus has also opened to Intermediate students, offering facilities such as purpose-built classrooms, hostel accommodation, and a shuttle service for convenient access.
