Federal Cup Tennis starts from today
ISLAMABAD: The 37th Federal Cup National Ranking Tennis Championship starts from Saturday (today) at the PTF – SDA Tennis Complex.
The event will be contested in different categories: women, boys 18 & under, boys 14 and under, and senior doubles 65 plus. Elite players of the country including Aqeel Khan, M Shoaib, Muzammil Murtaza, and Barkatullah have been invited to participate in the event alon with many other national players belonging to different departments.
M Khalil Chughtai is the Tournament Director while ITF White Badge Referee Arif Qureshi is to work as a referee for this prestigious event. The 24 top-ranked players have been directly inducted in main draw and four players got wildcards while eight players will qualify for the main draw after playing the qualifying draw of 64 players.
