Gold rates up Rs800 per tola

KARACHI: Gold prices increased by Rs800 per tola on Wednesday in the local market following an increase in the international market. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association said that gold rates reached Rs356,900 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold rose by Rs684 to Rs305,984.Gold rates increased by $8 to $3,385 per ounce in the international market. Typically, gold prices in the local market are adjusted by a premium of $20 against rates in the international market.
Silver rates stood unchanged at Rs3,482 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates also remained the same at Rs2,985.
