CCPO for effective actions to curb crime
LAHORE:CCPO Lahore presided over a meeting at his office to review the overall law & order and other professional matters.
The session included a detailed briefing on the organisational structure and SOPs of the CCD. Discussions were held on strengthening institutional coordination and collaboration between the District Police and the CCD. CCPO underlined the need for effective actions to curb crime through coordinated efforts with the CCD.
Three murder suspects held
The CCD has arrested three suspects on charges of murder of a woman and here daughter, whose dismembered bodies were found dumped in a canal. According to a CCD spokesperson, the arrested men identified as Yousuf, Nasir, and Mansab have confessed to killing the victims, dismembering their bodies, and disposing of the remains in a canal to conceal evidence.
